Op Sceptre - tackling knife crime

This week we’re supporting Op Sceptre, a national campaign to tackle knife crime.

We know locally knife crime is relatively low compared to other areas, however, we’re not complacent and continue to take action to stop people from carrying a knife in the first place.

Wednesday 20th May your local Safer Neighbourhood officers Will be holding a pop up event in the Woodrow Centre from 17:00-18:30 during this event we will be educating around knife crime. We will also have our Knife amnesty bin for anyone wishing to surrender/ discard any knives safely and responsibly
